Dr. Mascola schedules routine surgeries including spays, neuters, and lumpectomies (surgical excision of a mass), on Tuesday. Dr. DeSagun’s surgery day is Thursday. Preoperative testing is performed on every patient ensuring anesthetic safety and patients are monitored constantly while they are anesthetized.  Postoperative pain management is extremely important for your pet’s comfort and well-being.  Patients are monitored closely for signs of pain and treated appropriately in the hospital and sent with pain medications to continue at home.
